We are HIPAA compliant and we are insured.

Your claims are constantly being monitored. Should you receive any denials or wants something handled quickly, just shoot us an email and we will be right on it.

I've signed up with another medical billing service but could never reach anyone through phone. Do you have live representatives I can speak to anytime?
Absolutely. Just call 1800-920-8057 and someone will help you. Typically phone calls are answered between 9am-5pm EST. You can reach us by email anytime, we even answer on weekends as well.
How long does it take for acupuncture benefits to be verified?
Benefits are verified as quickly as possible within 24-48 hours. You can email them or enter them via our HIPAA compliant secure portal.

Some insurances like Carefirst BCBS closes on Friday at 11am, so if you put in a benefit on Thursday night, it may not get checked until Monday. BCBS generally has the longest hold times sometimes we can get through within 10 minutes, and sometimes the hold time is more than an hour. We will always update you if something takes longer than usual.

What is the typical turn around time for my acupuncture claims to be paid?
We submit your acupuncture medical claims as soon as you send them to us, typically within 24-48 hours. Each insurance payor’s processing speed will differ. Most providers receive their payments within 2-3 weeks. Some insurance pays as quickly as 10 days while others can take a little longer.
Can I change my rate later on?
Yes, if your volume exceeds certain level, you can quality for lower % rates. Just talk to us.
What if I'm not happy with the service?
At AcupBilling, we strive to make our clients happy. If you have any concerns about your claims and feel your needs are not being met, please contact our VP William@acupbilling.com and we will make sure to make it right.
Can I cancel anytime?
You can cancel anytime if you are not happy with our services. But do let us know the reasons to why, so we can constantly improve our services if it’s on our end.
